Each of our black porcelain tiles is assigned a ‘Grip Factor’ rating between 1 and 5 based on the level of slip resistance it offers. If a product is rated 2 or below, we recommend that it be used in interior spaces only. Any slab or tile with a Grip Factor rating of 3 or above is safe for outdoor use.
Our dark patio tiles possess different levels of shade variation. This means that some products offer more consistent levels of colour, shade and tone with only subtle differences, whereas some provide a more variegated style. All of them can be used to create stunning and eye-catching living spaces.
The finish of our black porcelain slabs varies depending on the product you choose. Our indoor porcelain tiles range from 8mm to 11mm in thickness and offer a smooth or fine textured finish that's ideal for interior spaces. Our 20mm thick patio tiles have a textured grip finish - perfect for outdoor spaces where there's more of a slip risk.
Using our revolutionary pedestal paving system, you can dry-install your dark outdoor tiles quickly and efficiently (20mm products only). Dry installation eliminates the need for cement or adhesive, meaning that you can create your beautiful black patio with minimal mess.
