Extra-Large Tiles: More Details

Regardless of where you install them, our extra-large 600 x 1200 porcelain tiles will perform exceptionally well and remain beautiful for many years after installation. PrimaPorcelain products are resistant to stains, scratches and fading, and their low porosity means that they absorb very little water. All of our products have a ‘Grip Factor’ rating between 1 and 5. The higher the rating, the greater that product’s grip. We do not recommend using tiles with a Grip Factor rating of 2 or lower in an outdoor environment.

Frequently Asked Questions

Why Choose Extra Large Porcelain Tiles?

There are so many reasons why extra large porcelain tiles might be the perfect choice for your home. First and foremost, they cover a large surface area meaning you need fewer tiles to complete your project. That's why our extra large porcelain tiles are perfect for homeowners on a budget! With fewer tiles covering the floor, you'll also have less grouting - ideal if you want to spend less time cleaning and more time enjoying your home. Our extra large porcelain tiles boast the same great qualities as our other porcelain tiles, so you can rest assured that you're getting beautiful, long-lasting tiles whatever the size.

Rectified 600 x 1200 Tiles

Rectified 600 x 1200 Tiles

All of our large porcelain tiles are rectified. Rectified tiles are processed to ensure that each tile has exactly the same dimensions (600mm by 1200mm in this case), and that every angle measures precisely 90 degrees.

Colour Variation

Colour Variation

When browsing the PrimaPorcelain website, keep an eye out for each product’s shade variation rating. Products with a low rating (like V2) have a consistent colour with relatively little variation, while higher-rated products have a noticeable variegated effect.

Textured Finish

Textured Finish

The texture of your large porcelain tiles will depend on whether you purchase them for indoor or outdoor use. Our 10mm thick (indoor) tiles have a finely-textured finish, while the 20mm thick (outdoor) tiles are more heavily textured for maximum slip resistance.
