Grey Porcelain

Grey is a very fashionable colour right now, and not just because of 50 Shades (though the popularity of those books may well have helped!) Grey items have a simple, neutral beauty that allows them to fit practically any design scheme, and whether you're shopping for furniture, clothing, or something else entirely, grey has a stylish appeal that works well right across the board.

We're big fans of grey here at PrimaPorcelain, so it shouldn't surprise you to learn that we have a variety of grey porcelain tiles for our customers to choose from. Here are a selection of our favourites - to browse our full range, head over to the PrimaPorcelain Product Selector.

Here's a room that's really embraced the appeal of grey! Our smooth Stoneware Pebble tiles look fantastic alongside the other elements of this magnificently modern interior.

These grey wood-effect porcelain tiles are perfect for an elegant, monochromatic interior design like the one in this photograph.

Grey porcelain tiles can also have an attractive stone-effect texture, as our Burlington Lead design demonstrates. Perfect for bringing a bit of nature into the home!

Our porcelain comparison chart gives you at-a-glance information on the differences between In.Out and Out 2.0 porcelain, but what about the differences between all of our different colours? Aside from the small square images, our comparison chart doesn’t offer much information on that front, so today we’re going to take a closer look at some of our porcelain tile designs and help you make the right decision for your project.

Onyx tiles and paving are the latest addition to our range, and they’re certainly one of the most striking options we offer. The bold black porcelain has an impact that’s impossible to ignore, and this is a great choice for fans of modern, minimal design. Onyx will look strong and elegant in home and garden alike – what could possibly compete with it?

Well, our Limestone Vanilla porcelain is certainly a contender. In many respects, it’s the polar opposite of Onyx; light and creamy, with a neutral design that emphasises subtlety over definition. It’s an equally exquisite choice for both indoor and outdoor living spaces, and we’re not going to tell you which of these two colours is ‘better’ or ‘more attractive’.

Onyx and Limestone Vanilla are both beautiful, they’re just suited to different designs. Onyx is ideal for a contemporary, cutting-edge look, so if your garden is outdated or your lounge feels stuffy, Onyx is the perfect antidote. Limestone Vanilla, meanwhile, has a less obvious effect, and if you want a soft, soothing atmosphere – in the bathroom or conservatory, for example – then this is your best bet.

Just in case six sumptuous porcelain styles weren’t enough, we’ve done a bit of searching and found a sharp-looking seventh. Onyx porcelain paving is the latest addition to our range, and if you’re keen on creating an elegant, modern-looking living space, Onyx will work wonders for you in both the home and the garden.

Most of our other paving colours are light and creamy, designed to bring subtle beauty to any space. In this respect, Onyx is worlds apart from the other options; the stunning black slabs are classy and contemporary in the extreme, and the bold design will have a spectacular impact no matter where it’s used.

In other ways, though, the Onyx paving is just like all of our other products. It’s just as sturdy, just as stain-resistant, and you’ll be pleased to hear that it’s just as easy to install and maintain. Onyx is available in both 1cm and 2cm thicknesses; the 1cm tiles are perfect for interiors, while the thicker tiles are ideal for outdoor use. The 2cm tiles can be dry-installed using our pedestal supports, and whichever thickness you opt for, you’ll find that your brilliant black surface requires very little looking after.
